I grew up in a family that loved the outdoors but guns were not a part of my story. Then I met my husband who is a hunter and the outdoors and the shooting sport collided. I didn’t think it could get any better until I was given the opportunity to share my world with others through airgun and firearm reviews, hunts, and events.
An Opportunity Given Is Only Waiting To Be Received
From ladies’ shooting events to all ladies’ hunts at Ladies Behind A Gun, our goal is to encourage as many as we can to get there, behind a gun that is. We create a safe (in many facets) and comfortable environment for all to join and learn what they can do to advance in the direction they desire. We also want to provide a safe, comfortable place for ladies to test the waters and if they realize the shooting sports are not for them, they won’t be pressured into anything. Shooting and hunting are not for everyone and that’s okay, but you won’t know until you try it.
At Ladies Behind A Gun, we’ve been on the receiving end of given opportunities and know the fruit that can come of it. We hope to extend the opportunities to others in hopes that they will bear fruit as well.
Most of us at Ladies Behind A Gun love the shooting sport because we love to hunt. There are many ladies who would love to test the waters, either shooting or hunting but that may not know what, where, or how. At Ladies Behind A Gun we want to give the opportunity to as many as will receive to learn the what, the where, and the how.

I am an airgunner of seven years and a lifelong shooter. My journey into the airgun community completely transformed my life, shifting my nickname from “Miss Angie” to “Airgun Angie.”
